Lucas County 24-Hour Release Source
The Lucas County Sheriff's Office does not publish a separate official list of everyone released during the last 24 hours. Its nearest product is the Lucas County Corrections Center Booking Summary. The report can contain an exact Released On date and time, but its entries are selected through a roughly three-day booking-date interval. It is not selected by release date. That difference matters. Someone booked before the report's interval and released today may never appear, while someone booked in the interval but still confined may remain in the PDF.
The sheriff says the booking summary refreshes every four to six hours. It is not real time, and the file can change at the same URL. Its report timestamp establishes when that edition was produced. No official online archive period is posted. Save the timestamp and request the underlying release transaction when a stable record is needed.
Check Lucas County Same-Day Releases
A same-day review starts with the report's own clock, not the time when a reader happens to open the file. Keep identity and destination separate. A release timestamp can prove departure from LCCC, yet another authority may have accepted custody at the door.

Lucas County Release Report Fields

Use the exact status words. Deactivated - Out of Facility must not be restated as release to the community. Ask for the public release type, authority, receiving agency, and destination if the label does not resolve what happened.
Lucas County Release Fallbacks
When the PDF misses a booking or has already changed, the written transaction is the durable county source. Submit the Lucas County sheriff record-request form with the full name, date of birth if known, approximate booking date, and booking or case number. Ask for the booking sheet and the release or discharge transaction showing date, time, status or type, authority, and receiving agency or destination if public. The posted policy says electronic written records are free when available. It does not promise a set completion time.

Next, read the proper Common Pleas or municipal court docket for the filed bond, dismissal, sentence, transport, or release order. A federal or immigration handoff must be checked with the receiving federal agency.
Court choice is part of the check. Lucas County Common Pleas handles felony matters, while Toledo, Maumee, Oregon, and Sylvania municipal courts handle their own cases. The county's official docket landing page routes General Division searches, and Toledo Municipal Court maintains a separate criminal and traffic search. Read the filed entry itself. A short docket caption may not state the full order, and one case can close while a second court or warrant continues to hold the person.
Where Lucas County Releases Occur
The LCCC booking area is the official primary entry and release point. Yet the sheriff posts no general release hours, weekend or holiday schedule, family waiting rule, or public exit-door directions. A predicted routine would be unsafe. The dedicated property line is 419-213-4938, but the source does not publish a complete release-day property procedure or pickup hours.
Release from the building is not always release from all custody. Bond, recognizance, dismissal, time served, or a court order may allow a community exit. A transfer can move the person to CCNO, ODRC, another county, federal custody, or immigration custody. Death also ends jail custody without being a community release. The release transaction and receiving-agency check make that distinction.

Lucas County Pretrial Release Duties
Lucas Pretrial Services creates a local distinction between permission to leave jail and the duties that start at release. Its assessment officers work inside LCCC booking around the clock and assist the sheriff with releases. People granted Supervised Own Recognizance or Monitored Own Recognizance must report immediately to Pretrial Services at 1100 Jefferson Avenue. Own recognizance means the court permits release without a cash bond under stated conditions. The method and frequency of later reporting depend on the court and the person's supervision plan.

Lucas County Release Window Gap
The PDF's usefulness comes from exact timestamps embedded in a product built for another task. It often spans about three calendar days of bookings. That can catch a person who entered and left LCCC within the report interval. It can also miss an older booking released during the same 24-hour period. Calling the report a rolling release feed would erase this core limit.
For a defensible result, preserve three separate facts: the report creation time, the booking interval, and the release timestamp. Then compare the case docket and any transfer or hold data. A screenshot proves only what the live PDF displayed at capture time. The underlying sheriff transaction is stronger evidence and can state a public disposition or destination the summary omits.
Lucas County Release Versus Custody
Recent-release research crosses several systems, and each has a narrow role. A current jail entry points to ongoing LCCC custody. A Released On timestamp records departure from LCCC. An ODRC incarcerated result means state-prison custody, while Released or APA Supervision describes a state corrections record after prison. A BOP result concerns federal custody. VINELink repeats an event reported by a participating agency.

A missing name is not proof. Confirm the event with the office that created the record and match identifiers before treating two entries as the same person.
For county custody, match the booking date, court, and charge sequence to the requested transaction. For state custody, match the ODRC number, date of birth, committing county, and docket. Federal number searches and ICE biographical searches use different identifiers. Keeping those systems separate prevents a Lucas County jail departure from being mislabeled as a state or federal discharge.
